Harold Harry Weller was born September 27, 1933 in St. Louis, Missouri to Herbert A. Weller and Adele Holly Weller (Grote).
He graduated from Florrisant High School in Florrisant, Missouri. After that time he entered the United States Air Force. While stationed at Selfridge Air Force Base in Detroit, Michigan, he met the love of his life, Margaret (Bonnie) Campbell. They were married August 18, 1954. To this union were born three children, Mary, Mark and Michael.
Harold served 40 years with the Federal Aviation Agency (FAA) as an Air Traffic Control Specialist. During this time the family lived in Detroit and Oklahoma City, where he was an instructor at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center, He also served in W. Virginia and Seattle, Washington before finally settling in Hurst, Texas.
While living in Hurst, Texas he joined the Texas National Guard and was deployed to Rheinman Air Base, Germany where he served as Airfield Management Supervisor. He was honorably discharged in 1985.
Harold or Hal as he was known to his friends, loved acting and was in such Theater productions as "Oklahoma" , "A funny thing happened on the way to the Forum", "My Fair Lady" as well as many other productions. You could also see him on Walker, Texas Ranger.
He is survived by his Daughter Mary Willingham of Mooreland, Oklahoma, and daughter in law, Karen Weller of Shelvin, Minnesota, his nephew Gary Weller of Sedalia, Missouri, 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 4 great great- grandchildren.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, his step mother Aurelia Weller, his wife Bonnie and son's Mark Weller and Michael Weller. grandson's Shaun Weller and Aaron Helton, great great-grandson Grayson Sessions as well as his brother Gary Weller and son-in-law, Greg Willingham.
Service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 27, 2023 in the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas Texas 75211.
