Harold Dean Yessick

Harold Dean Yessick, 90, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2024. He was born to parents Willie Pearl Houston and Jesse Franklin Yessick, on May 3, 1934 in Boothton, AL.

Harold met Frances “Erlene” Holland in October 1954 and they were married the same year on December 19. Together they raised 3 children: Ronald Yessick, Karen Yessick Minatra, Wade Yessick.

Harold is survived by son Ronald Yessick (Leann); daughter Karen Yessick Minatra; grandchildren Aaron Yessick (Amy); Ashley Yessick Gawley (Cameron); Suzanne Minatra. Great-grandchildren Blane Awtry; Harlan Yessick; Austin Crain; Austin Gawley; Ryelan Yessick; Olivia Gawley; Wylie Yessick; brother Houston Yessick (Carol); many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Erlene; son Wade Yessick; sister Jimmie Ruth Sims.

The family has entrusted Lucas Funeral Home with the arrangements. A Memorial Service will be held graveside June 29 at 11:00 a.m., Ryan Baptist Church Cemetery, 12337 Hwy. 17 Montevallo, Alabama. John Meyer will officiate the service.
