N. RICHLAND HILLS -- Hazel Choate beloved mother and grandmother passed away Monday January 13,2014.
Visitation will be at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst from 6-8PM Thursday. Graveside funeral service will be Friday, 2PM at Bourland Cemetery in Keller.
Hazel was born February 18,1932 in Roanoke. She was a member of Richland Hills Baptist Church. She was a retired records clerk from Lockhead. She loved her Lord and Savior and loved to tell others about Him. Her greatest love was for her children, grandchildren and extended family. She had more friends than one can count and each one touched her life in a very special way. She leaves a legacy of love for all that knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband John Choate, parents Hubert and Maude Gunnels and sister Carolyn Clarke.
Survivors are her 5 children, Barry Hubert, Jonna Loye, Julie Deanne, Bobby Len and Jeana Joy. Grandchildren Molly, Josh, Elyse, Matthew, Sara ,Jason, Ashley, Faith and Grace, and great granddaughter Sofie. Brother Oliver, and Sister Linda. Numerous cousins , niece,nephews and extended family.
