Helen M. Bartkowiak

Helen M. Bartkowiak entered this world on January 11, 1944 and went to God’s loving arms on February 26, 2023. Meeting her in Heaven was her faithful husband Bart (Kenneth) Bartkowiak. She is survived by a large number of friends, co-workers, fellow parishioners, senior center members and many other people that she met along life’s journey. She was truly a friend to all those she met.
Helen was the most kind, gentle and loving person. She loved people and getting to know everyone she came in contact with. That ability served her well in her lengthy career with American Airlines as a Passenger Service Agent at DFW Airport. She also loved all animals, especially her own dogs which she treated with great care and love. She was a long time member of St Michael’s church in Bedford where she served God and honored her Catholic religion with great pride and dignity there.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Rd, Hurst TX 76053
There will be a funeral visitation on Thursday March 2, 2023 at the Lucas Funeral Home Chapel from 5pm-7pm and a Rosary said at 6pm.
A funeral mass will be at St Michael’s Catholic Church, 3713 E Harwood Rd, Bedford TX 76021 on Friday March 3, 2023 at 11am.
Internment will be at a later date in St Louis, MO next to her husband Bart.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to the ASPCA or St Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
