Helen Marie King

Helen Marie (Haynie) King was born on November 13, 1934 in Newton Falls, Ohio and passed away on July 13, 2021 at home in North Richland Hills, Texas at the age of 86 years old. Helen was a loving mother and grandmother and loved cooking and taking care of her family. She also enjoyed quilting and cross stitch. She was a former member of Richland Hills United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Joe King; parents, Verna and Robert Mettler; brother, Jerry Haynie, and sister, Norma Nelson. She is survived by her son, David King and wife, Robin of Hot Springs, Arkansas; daughter, Candace King of North Richland Hills; daughter-in-law, Linda King and grandchildren, Amanda King and Cameron King. Graveside service will be held at 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park under the direction of Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst.
