Helen Pauline Lazorisak, of Flemington, NJ, passed away on October 12, 2020 while at home in Fort Worth, Texas surrounded by her family. Those who knew and loved her will lovingly remember her as Oma, Mom, wife, aunt and a true friend. She was born on July 22, 1923 in New York City, NY to Eugene Kaufeler of New York City and Marie Schroeder of Breman, Germany.
Helen grew up on her family’s farm in New Jersey, where she developed a strong work ethic and a love for animals. Although she worked hard on the farm, she later became skilled as a seamstress and homemaker. Helen became a great cook, and enjoyed feeding family and friends. She loved music, dancing, and traveling. She also enjoyed a good party, filled with laughter and fun.
Helen will be greatly missed by those who survived her, which include her favorite daughter, Geraldine “Geri” Moya, of Fort Worth, Texas and Geri’s husband Frank. She is also survived by her 5 fabulous grandchildren; Joe Mock, Todd Mock, Lorraine Thomas (husband Mark), Vickie Fredericks (husband Derek) and Cathy Miller (husband Scott) and 7 fantastic great grandchildren; Annmarie Fredericks, Hannah Miller, Heather Miller, Breanne Thomas, Brenden Thomas, Ally Miller and Sarah Fredericks, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Nicholas Lazorisak, her parents; Eugene and Marie Kaufeler and her 4 siblings; Elizabeth Swiecicki, Charlotte Zenyuch, Eugene Kaufeler and Janet Young .
An intimate family Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 17th, 2020 at 10:00am at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller, Texas.
