Herbert Wayne Brewer

Herbert Wayne Brewer, age 90, passed away July 25, 2022, of natural causes. Herb was born in Gladewater, TX, on October 24, 1931. He graduated from Texas A&M University in 1954 after serving as Aggie Corps Squadron 24 Company Commander and with a degree in Agricultural Education. Herb married Anita Joyce Dunlavy of Gladewater on December 26th, 1954 after receiving a military officer commission and while serving in the U.S. Air Force as a pilot. He then taught Agriculture and 4H at a Roxton, TX public school. Herb later worked as the Rains County Agricultural Agent and retired in 1994 after many years with Ciba-Geigy, where he won numerous sales awards. Herb was a member of the Lions Club and enjoyed fishing and golf. He was preceded in death by his wife Joyce and son Kyle Brewer. He is survived by his children Greg Brewer and Cindy Brewer Holash, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
