Hermon Dennis Nicholson

January 20, 1939 — March 20, 2015

Hermon Dennis “Nick” Nicholson was born January 20, 1939 in Chandler, Arizona. He entered Heaven on March 20, 2015. He is survived by his daughters, Treva Ilene Nicholson of Grapevine and Tanya Sides and husband Chris of Haslet Texas, his granddaughters Peyton and Paige Sides, and his sister Vicki Davis and her husband Ron of Queen Creek, Arizona. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Treva Nicholson and his parents Hermon and Francis Nicholson.
He graduated from Chandler High School in 1957, and attended Arizona State University before enlisting in the U.S. Marine Corp in 1958. He proudly served his country until 1962. He met and married Treva Waldo in 1965. After several career paths and moves, he went to work for Sony Broadcast in 1972. He retired in 1995. He was an active member and deacon at Memorial Baptist Church in the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s.
Nick was a loving husband, daddy, and papa and will be greatly missed by many.
