In Loving Memory of Hiram Pesante-Berrios

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Hiram Pesante-Berrios, who left us far too soon on January 13, 2025 at the age of 71. Born in Puerto Rico in August of 1953, Hiram was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, and a friend to all who knew him.

Hiram dedicated 27 years of his career to Avis Budget Group, where he worked at Dallas-Fort Worth Airport. Known for his incredible work ethic, attention to detail, and kindness, he earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues and customers alike.

Above all, Hiram was a family man. He was the best friend and loving husband of Carmen for 48 years. Together, they built a home filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. He enjoyed music and dancing salsa with his wife Carmen. He was a proud father, guiding his children with wisdom, patience, and unwavering support. He was always just a phone call away, ready to offer advice, share a laugh, or simply listen. His devotion to his family was the cornerstone of his life, and his love will continue to shape those he leaves behind.

Hiram will be remembered for his warm and generous heart, and the joy he brought to those around him. Whether through his hard work, his acts of kindness, or the love he shared with his family, Hiram’s legacy will live on in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

A visitation to say goodbye will take place on Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lucas Funeral Home in Grapevine, Texas. In accordance with his wishes, a memorial service will be held in Puerto Rico at a later date. The family invites friends and loved ones to come together to celebrate his life and honor his memory.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carmen; his cherished children, Alexandi Pesante, Dorycelis Pesante, Aileen Pesante, Barbara Parra, and Jose Parra; his devoted mother, Ana Pesante-Berrios; and his treasured grandchildren, Jalen, Giselle, Ziya, Chanel, Leo, Ezekiel, Marley, Elijah, and Joseph. He also leaves behind many beloved family members and friends who will forever hold him close in their hearts.

Rest in peace, Hiram. You will forever be in our hearts.
