Howard Bruce Stephens Sr.

Howard B. Stephens, 96, died peacefully on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017. Service: 2:30 pm Thursday, Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
Howard was born Aug. 25, 1921, in Millsap, Texas. He and Wilma Womack were married Feb. 1, 1942, they were inseparable for over 73 years. Howard was a WWII veteran, Army Air Force, retired Southwestern Bell Telephone after 44 years. They were longtime members of Bethel Temple Church.
Howard was a loving husband, a wonderful father, brother, grandpa, and great-grandpa, and a dear friend. We will miss his gentle presence, kind words and warm smile.
Preceded in death by the wife he adored, three sisters, two brothers. Survivors include daughter, Penny Parish, husband Jerry, son, Bruce Stephens, wife Julie, dear nieces, nephews, cousins, three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren. Special thanks to the many friends and loving staff at Lakewood Village.
