Hoyt James Smith

Hoyt James "H.J." Smith, age 89 of Hurst, Texas rejoined beloved family and friends who have gone before him on Monday December 10, 2018.
All family and friends are welcome. He worked two jobs, retiring from Bell Helicopter after 32-1/2 years and continued actively working at his Car Dealership in Hurst. He was a 50 plus year member of the Masonic Temple #1387 in Hurst, and the Moslah Shrine in Ft. Worth.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years Georgia, 2 sons, 2 daughters, son in law, daughter in law, 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great granddaughter.

The family will receive friends and visitors from 6:00-8:00 P.M., Friday, December 14, 2018 at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018 also at Lucas Funeral Home with Dr. G. Frank Lawlis officiating followed by interment at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials in his honor to be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
