Huy Ngoc Nguyen

Huy Ngoc Nguyen, age 50, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2021 due to kidney and heart complications. He was surrounded by family at the time of his passing. Huy is survived by his loving mother, Loan, two sisters Thao and Khanh, brother Andrew (Mimi), and six nephews and nieces (Nicholas, Caleigh, Cassie, Lanah, Graham, and Caleb). He is preceded in death by his father, Trang.

Huy was born on August 7, 1971 in Saigon, Vietnam. He immigrated with his family to the United States in 1975 at the end of the Vietnam War. Huy grew up in Watauga and Hurst, Texas. He was skilled with his hands and enjoyed vocational occupations including time as an electronics technician. He loved his mother, dining out, the Dallas Cowboys, dogs, and California weather. Huy was a generous soul with a big heart. He was a child of God and a follower of Christ. Huy’s time with us was too short, and he will be missed deeply by his family.

A memorial service and visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Rd in Hurst, Texas.
