Hylogene "Gene" Moore

SAGINAW -- Hylogene Goodman Moore, better known as Gene or Mimi, passed away early Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013.
Graveside service: 11 a.m. Thursday in Milford Cemetery, Milford. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Susan G. Komen breast cancer organization.
She was born Aug. 12, 1921, in Milford. She lived for 50 years in North Richland Hills and was a member of North Richland Hills Baptist Church.
Everyone who met her became instant family and she was loved by all. She courageously battled breast cancer for 30 years and will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Jerald Moore, and her sisters, Hazel Smith, Alice McDaniel and Dortha Goodman; and her son-in-law, Hal Nesbitt.
Survivors: Daughter, Cheryl Nesbitt; son, Tom Moore and wife, Jane; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and countless family and friends
