Ida Teresa Mercurio

Ida Teresa Mercurio passed away at the age of 97 in Keller, TX. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, friend and confidante. Ida is survived by 3 sons and their wives, Richard (Sandra), William (Mary), and Mark (Annamarie). She also leaves 10 grandchildren,16 great grandchildren, as well as brothers Saverio Pagnotta and Joseph (Angela) Pagnotta along with many nieces and nephews. Ida was predeceased by her loving husband of 50 years, Nicholas Mercurio; parents, Domenico Pagnotta and Ida (Loffredo) Pagnotta; sisters, Mary Viola and Adeline Raimond; sister-in-law, Marion Pagnotta; brother-in-law Andy Viola, and brother-in-law Domenic (Ray) Raimond.

Ida was a vibrant and loving person, who always looked for the best in everyone and encouraged others to be their best. Her positive attitude and zest for life attracted many friends. In her lifetime, she enjoyed volunteering, cooking, gardening, traveling and playing games. We were blessed to know her and she will be missed. Family services for Ida will be held on the East Coast at a later time. Donations to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital may be made in her memory.
