Imogene F. Payne

Imogene Francis Payne was born January 13, 1926 in Sulphur Springs, Texas to the late Kate and Clovis Jefferson Stephenson. She passed away peacefully on November 6, 2019 at home in Hurst, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her children Dallas Franklin Tatom & Wanda Jean Gomez, and by her sister Barbara Joy Brewer.

Imogene is survived by her Grandchildren: Keith Wayne Gomez, Tammi Tatom Birch and husband Bryan; Great-grandchildren: Micheal Alan Wright and wife Ashley, Jason Lee Wright and wife Stephanie, Amanda Diane Gomez and wife Katie Reed, Samantha Rae Banks and husband Keith, Jacob Scott Birch, Calissa Michelle Birch, and Cadi Brooke Birch; Great-great grandchildren: McKaylie Rae Wright, Nathen Gage Wright, Mason Lee Wright, Gabriel Isaah Richardson, Camden Lee Wright, Kaiden Christopher Wright, Jada Michelle Wright, Abel Wayne Wright, Aizlin Rae Gomez, Baiyah Rose Gomez, Taitly Jayne Banks, Madison Isabella Birch, and Kendall Mae Birch, as well as her brother Thomas Weldon Stephenson.

A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst, Texas. Funeral services will also be held at Lucas Funeral Home, Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. with Chaplain Robin Brake officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving, Texas.

If desired the family has requested memorial donations in Imogene's memory be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
