Irma Christina "Tina" Salazar Cook

Tina, 71, of Euless passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024. Tina will always be remembered for her sparkling smile, angelic demeanor and perseverance. Her passions were reading, music of all genres, travel and butterflies, butterflies, butterflies.

Tina was born at Shepard Air Force Base, Wichita Falls, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Eduardo Constantino Salazar Sr. and Betty Lou Salazar. Along with her parents, Tina was also preceded in death by her brothers Edward Salazar and John Salazar. 

She provided mission support around the world, for 15 years working in the Department of Defense. She then went to work for major corporations such as Lotto Sport, USA and Riddell Athletic Footwear. Her past 15 years were spent working at Northrup Grumman Corporation. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration - Accounting in 1985 from Midwestern State University. She also had her CPA certification. 

She is survived by Zeus Preston Cook "Preppy Boy", her beloved Deer Head Chihuahua loyal companion and best friend. Her surviving siblings are Rhonda Decker of The Colony, Phillip Salazar and wife, Velinda of DeLeon, Michele Swanson and husband, Danny of Holliday, Pamela Salazar-Metzner and husband, Frank of Bradenton, FL and Charles Salazar and wife, Mary of Plano. 

The church service will be November 9, 2024, 1:00 pm at St. Michael's Catholic Church 3713 Harwood Road, Bedford Texas 76021. The service will be followed by a reception at the church. 

Tina's final resting place will be with her parents in Wichita Falls at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
