Ivan Junior Eubanks was born on February 21, 1933 in Pittsburg, Oklahoma to the late William Ellis Eubanks and Lora May Wilson Watkins. He peacefully passed away on September 10th, 2019 at home in Bedford, Texas.
Ivan retired from General Motors after over 32 years of service. He also had worked as head of security at the Old Texas Stadium in Irving. He proudly served our country in the United States Air Force. Mr. Eubanks enjoyed woodworking and creating crafts such as lanterns, belts, belt buckles and macramé and even sold his creations at shows and campgrounds representing his personally owned business, Wildwood Crafts. He and his wife, Jodie loved to travel and even lived in their RV while discovering and seeing the country together. Ivan even loved to ride his motorcycle, but his biggest love was his family. He was a husband, Daddy, and Paw Paw. He made sure that his family knew how much he loved them by telling them often with his kind words and his sloppy kisses.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Connie May and brother, Kenneth Eubanks.
Ivan is survived by his beloved wife of over 65 years, Jodie Eubanks of Bedford; daughter, Ivena Farison and husband, David of Euless; son, Danny Eubanks and wife, Jane of Paris, TX; daughter, Donna Bardin and husband, Dennis of Union Valley, TX; and daughter, Lisa Martin and Roger Johnston of Euless; grandchildren, Jeremy Clark, Leslie Covey, Andrea Klevanosky, Melinda Martin, and Amanda Martin; great-grandchildren, Abigail, Rylan, Kyleigh, Treyton, Jaxon, Colton, and Brooklyn; sister, Mary Edwards and husband, Jackie of Haywood, Oklahoma and brother, David Watkins of Oklahoma.
Visitation for Mr. Eubanks will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Monday, September 16, 2019 at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at First Assembly DFW located at 3800 Hwy 121, Bedford, TX 76021; followed by a committal service with Air Force Honors to be held at 1:15 P.M., at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
