J.T. Thames Iii

On July 3, 2021 JT Thames III a lifelong resident of the North Richland Hills community passed away and went home to be with Jesus. JT Thames III was known for his unending creative endeavors and entrepreneurial ventures. He loved to talk and share his stories and big ideas with anyone that would listen. JT Thames III has seven children: Vickie Nelms of Weatherford, Texas, Cinderella Field - Bixby, Oklahoma, Paula Hermey - Glen Rose, JT Thames IV - Fort Worth, Shelly Ray - Burleson, Christopher Thames - DFW and Kory J Thames – N. Richland Hills, JT Thames III – DFW area. Eight grandchildren: Cliff Snyder – DFW area, Glenn Snyder – DFW area, Fallon Wright - Crowley, Christopher Field – Bixby, Oklahoma, Lisa Field McCain – Bixby, Oklahoma, Chaz Thames, Lindey Ray – DFW area and Cori Thames Gilmore. Thirteen great grandchildren: Bryn, Brook, Flint, Elise, Olivia, Ariana, Sophia, Izabella, Luke, Jackson and Brooks.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst with Bro. Johnny Hendricks, Jr. officiating.
