Jacqueline Estelle Winston was born on November 7, 1943 in Chicago Illinois to Rev. Nathaniel and Estelle Hall. She was the second born of six children.
Jacqueline accepted Jesus Christ as a teenager.
She met and married her childhood sweetheart at an early age to John R. Winston, Sr., who preceded her in death. To this union, two children were born. One son, John R. Winston, Jr., who also preceded her in death and a daughter, Janene A. Winston.
Jacqueline was educated in the Chicago Public Schools where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Loop Jr. College and a Bachelor of Science from Northwestern. She went on to attain her master’s degree from Governors State University. Her occupation was that of a devoted wife and mother. First Lady of Holy Mount Zion Pentecostal Church for more than 20 years.
Earlier in her career she worked as a histologist at West Suburban Hospital. She later retired from the Chicago Public Aid. Where she went out of her way to help as many people as possible. Jacqueline departed this life on December 17, 2021.
We thank God for her life, she was known for helping others in times of need or giving encouraging words to uplift someone’s spirit. She leaves behind one daughter, Janene A. Winston of Fort Worth Texas; two sisters, Marilyn B. Isom of Atlanta Georgia and Claudine Elaina Hall Nesbary (Thomas) of Fort Worth Texas; one brother, Albert Hall; 6 grandchildren with Jordan Winston preceding her in death; 6 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and many friends.
Family will receive friends for a viewing at 12 pm, Friday, February 4, 2022 at Lucas Funeral Chapel. Funeral Service will be held at 1 pm, Friday, February 4, 2022 at Lucas Funeral Chapel, 1601 South Main Street, Keller, Texas 76248.
A committal service will be held later at Bourland Cemetery.
