James John Curry passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on August 25th in Arlington, Texas.
Service: A celebration of Jim’s life will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, August 30th

Jim was born on March 30th, 1948 to John Y. Curry and Theresa (Coonan) Curry. He was a 1966 graduate of West Catholic High School. Jim enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1967 where he served his country during the Vietnam War. Jim married Maureen Donahue in 1971 and had two daughters, Jeanine and Eileen.
He worked for Bell & Howell in New Jersey before being transferred to Arlington, TX in 1987. Jim later married Dianna Miller where they continued to call Arlington their home. If you met Jim, you knew he was always “Gosh darn wonderful”, had two beautiful daughters, three handsome grandsons, loved Pizza and as much as he loved Texas; he was a DIEHARD Philadelphia Eagles fan.
Jim was actively involved with his community, always there to help a friend. He volunteered with many organizations and was the chaplain for the Disabled American Veterans, Arlington, Texas Chapter 157.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents, John and Theresa Curry, and his wife Dianna Curry
Survivors: Jeanine Brindley and husband Leigh, Eileen Riccione and husband Buddy. Three grandsons; James Brindley, Cole Riccione and Chase Riccione. Also numerous nieces, nephews; countless number of wonderful friends that were there until the end and his four precious dogs.
