James Ewing

May 13, 1960 — April 18, 2025

James "Jim" Edison Ewing 64 years old from Fort Worth Texas passed away on April 18, 2025 after a brief battle with cancer.


Jim was born on May 13, 1960 to James and Frances Ewing in Jeffersonville, Indiana.  He was a proud Choctaw Native American.

He dropped out of high school to work full time and was a self-made man. He later went on to study and got his GED diploma, and worked an a number of odd jobs. Jim later on went to start his own metal fabrication business known as ARC Enterprises.  Some of the best highlights of his career, were putting up the gateway monuments in Arlington's highways.  


In 1978 he married Kim Farris, and they celebrated a loving marriage that lasted 47 years. Jim and Kim have two children, Brandy Ewing Bunch and John Ewing both of Fort Worth, Texas and they also have three dearly loved grandchildren.


Jim spent his spare time working because that was his enjoyment and helping others with any projects they had. He worked extremely hard to support his family.


Jim was predeceased by his father James and mother Frances. He is survived by his brother Jerry, sister-in-law Sarah, both of his children, and his loving wife Kim Ewing.
