James David Ferguson

James “Jim” D. Ferguson, 89, of Haltom City, passed away Monday, November 6, 2023, in Fort Worth.

Jim was born May 27, 1934, in Dundee, Texas to Albert L and Novie L Jackson Ferguson.

Jim was married October 10, 1956, to his one and only love Janice Spencer Ferguson for 67 years. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many people. After graduating from Midwestern University, he went to work for Oilwell Supply. He was employed there for 11 years. He then worked for SEDCO for 20 years. He and the family traveled abroad to many different countries. He worked for Lockheed Martin 5 years, retiring in 1991. He loved all things that said “sports”. He enjoyed his family, ranching, golfing and fishing.

Jim was preceded in death by: his parents, Albert L and Novie L Jackson Ferguson, brothers, Milton “Slim” and wife Anita, Kenneth, Raymond and his wife, Donna.

Survivors: His loving wife, Janice Spencer Ferguson; daughters, Deborah Ferguson Marbury and husband Randal, and Lydia Ferguson Kidd and husband, Jeffrey; grandchildren, Jamie Marbury Fahey and husband, Michael and Christopher Marbury; Great-grandson, Oliver Fahey; sister, Norma Ferguson Edwards Skelton; sister-in-law, Dorothy Ferguson and many nieces and nephews.
