James Frost

September 16, 1968 — January 21, 2024

James Frost, of Addison Texas, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his close family at the age of 55, on January 21st, 2024 at 10:40 a.m. Jamie fought a very short battle with liver cancer and during this battle he remained fiercely optimistic as he did in his life in general. Even when he felt his worst, he was still positive, smiling and continued to help others.

Jamie was born in 1968, in Urbana Ohio, to his mother Sharon Hoffman, and his Father Floyd Frost. In his early life, Jamie served his country proudly as a Corporal in the Marine Corps. He was stationed on the front lines in Kuwait and received multiple commendations upon his honorable discharge. Taking advantage of the education provided by the military, Jamie went on to receive a Bachelors’ degree in business from California Coast University.
After graduation, Jamie started his career in Information Technology as a Project Manager and later advanced to CIO of Revolution Retail Systems and then Glory Global Solutions, Americas. Jamie was actively working for Glory at the time of his passing. He served as an integral part of the organization as well as a friend and mentor. Jamie was well loved and respected by his work family.

In Jamie’s personal life he was an avid hobbyist. He purchased and modified multiple cars and motorcycles. He traveled extensively to different countries, and he loved playing golf and played in many tournaments. He had a love for the water and chartering boats with his most recent being in Belize. One of Jamie favorite past times was spending time with his family and friends. He was known as a loving father, faithful friend, as well as an encouraging and inspiring colleague.

He is survived by his adult sons, Nathan Frost of McKinney, and Dominic Frost of Fort Worth,

Siblings Dawn (Marcus) Lopez, Stephanie (Fred) Walborn, Samantha Marshall, June (Mike) Landes, Eric Frost, and his 13 Nieces and Nephews.
