James Charles Lee Kirkland, Sr.

James Charles Lee Kirkland, Sr, 86, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at home.
Visitation 12noon to 2pm Saturday at the funeral home. Graveside service with masonic honors 3pm Saturday, Caddo Cemetery, Joshua.
A native of McKinney, Texas, James was born March 16, 1930 to Robert E. Lee Kirkland and Clarabel Sherbin Kirkland. He retired as an aircraft assembler for Bell Helicopter. James was a member of the Venus and Grandview masonic lodges, the Scottish Rite, and Moslah Temple Shrine. He was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter, Jennifer Rose Coach.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Judy Lee Kirkland, Shirley Ann Dunlap, Gloria G. McCann, Karen Joy Blocker, Tina Marie William, James C. Kirkland, Jr. and Richard Harvey Kirkland; ten grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; brother, David Harvey Kirkland.
