James Vinzant (Papa), 90, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, November 20, 2018.
Burial 10:30 am Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, Colleyville. Memorial Services will be at 11:30 am Saturday, November 24th at Grapevine First United Methodist Church Founders Chapel, 422 Church Street, Grapevine, TX.
Reception/Lunch will follow services at 1:00 pm at Classic Café, 504 N Oak Street, Roanoke, TX 76262

James was born October 4, 1928 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Alta Leona Chisum Vinzant and Edward Washington Vinzant. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1952-1955 traveling all around the world. He married the love of his life, Wilma Vinzant, in 1948 and they were married 65 years before Wilma passed away in 2013. His jovial, outgoing personality led him to his lifetime career in sales for Spector and Yellow Transit and then he started his dream family business, Vinzant Enterprises Inc. where he sold and manufactured oil field products. James enjoyed golfing, fishing and spending time with his family. His favorite past time was spoiling his grandchildren.
James was preceded in death by his late wife, Wilma Vinzant; his brothers, Paul, Russell, Everett and Johnny Vinzant; his sisters, Lorrain Vinzant and Glenda Williams.
He is survived by his two children, Cindy Vinzant(Judy Sherman) and Elaine Eazor (Joe Eazor); his grandchildren, Haley and Nate Eazor and numerous loving family and friends.
