RICHLAND HILLS -- James William Worthington, 48, passed away Thursday, June 7th at North Hills Hospital. Service: 10:00am Monday, June 11, 2012 at First United Methodist Church of Keller. Visitation: 3-5pm Sunday afternoon at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller. Memorials: Contributions may be made to the Grace Covenant Church, 8545 Airport Freeway, Suite 100, Hurst, TX 76108. James was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas and went to schools in Shreveport, Louisiana and Austin, Texas. James had a passion for classic cars and followed the NASCAR races with Jeff Gordon being his favorite driver. He also loved fishing. James' friendliness was well known by the many people he met on his daily walks. He never met a stranger nor judged others. His pet cats, Butch, George, Martha, and Hunter, and his pet dogs, Rudy and Max thrived because of his kindness and were always by his side. James was lovingly welcomed into the congregation of the Grace Covenant Church where the pastors, Lynn and Daniele Wess, were special friends. Another special long time friend, John Andrews was always available to lend James a hand. James is survived by his parents, Polly and Tom Soulsby, sisters: Nancy Krail and husband, Freddy Krail of Round Rock, TX, Sloane Soulsby of Fort Worth, TX, Debbie Norris of Little Rock, AR, Laurie Soulsby of Springfield, MO, and 7 nieces and nephews and Tom Nyman; friend, roommate and caregiver.
