Jamma Kang age 57 passed away in her home in Euless, Texas on April 14th, 2019 with her family by her side. Jamma was born in Seoul, South Korea on December 21st, 1961. Growing up in Korea she was encouraged by her grandmother performing traditional Korean folk dancing which Jamma adored. Her family moved to Texas when she was 8 years old and she quickly leaned English by her father setting up ice cream parties at their home. Jamma graduated from North Richland Hills and made many lifelong friends. In 1985 she married and had 2 children Mallory and Nathan. Jamma was always a hard worker, attention to detail and a unique talent of providing superior customer service. This was especially true where she worked at the donut shop in Trophy Club where she organized school field trips for the elementary children and would bring them in the back of the shop and show them how donuts were made. No child or parent will forget the “birthday donut” that bring lasting memories. Encouraged by a dear friend who worked for American Airlines Jamma embarked on a new career as a flight attendant and was awarded her 5-year pin before she passed. I saw the sky and now I’m flying where I land I’m hopeful, thoughtful and inspiring.
