Jan Mead Clark, of Fort Worth, Texas, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away August 6, 2020, at the age of 70. Jan passed peacefully in her sleep after a difficult battle with ovarian cancer and is now rejoicing in the presence of our Lord.
A celebration of Jan’s life and memorial service will be held at Christ Chapel Bible Church, on Thursday, August, 13, at 3:00 in the afternoon.

Jan was born in Lubbock, Texas on March 2, 1950, the youngest child to Bill and Vivian Mead. She moved with her family to Dallas, Texas, and married James Roderick Clark, her loving husband for 41 years, on August 4, 1979. Rod and Jan raised two children in Dallas until 1993 when they moved to The Woodlands, Texas. Their journey together took them to
Hingham, Massachusetts, and then back to Conroe, Texas. They retired in Fort Worth in 2008.
Rod and Jan have been active members in Northwest Bible Church (Dallas), South Shore Baptist Church (Hingham), and Christ Chapel Bible Church (Fort Worth). Jan devoted herself to her Christian faith, family, and close friends. She was known to others as a wise friend and wonderful listener. She will be greatly missed.
Jan is survived by her husband, Rod Clark; children, Hilary Parker and husband, Bo and Clayton Clark; grandchildren, Vivian and Tripp Parker; brothers, Michael Mead and wife, Judy, and Steve Mead.
