Jane Elizabeth Blust Wilson

WATAUGA -- Jane Elizabeth Blust Wilson, 74, passed away Monday, June 29, 2015 surrounded by her loving family.
Jane was born and raised in Yates City, Illinois. She later married Bill Wilson from Farmington, Illinois and expanded their family with 3 childrern, Sarah, Steven and Jeff. The family moved to Hurst, Texas in 1968. Jane faced many challenges in her life including her divorce in 1979. She worked for Bell Helicopter for many years and later worked for companies at DFW Airport in Fort Worth, Texas. Jane made many friends in Texas and was beloved by all. She never forgot her family and friends in Illinois and regretted not being able to return home. She had five grandchildren and one great grandaughter whom she loved dearly and were her pride and joy. Jane was a passionate reader, had a love for nature and wildflowers, and was very successful in her short bingo career
Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Yates City Cemetery in Yates City, Illinois.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Merrill and Frances Blust.
Survivors: Sons, Steven Wilson, Jeff Wilson and wife, Gwen Templeton; daughter, Sarah Oest and husband, Phillip; brother, James Blust and wife Donna; grandchildren, Jacob Oest, Cailen Oest , Joshua Oest, Jeff Wilson, Jr., and Michaela Wilson; great granddaughter, Charlotte Oest; niece, Angela Jensen and husband, Chris; William T.Wilson and a host of extended family and friends
The family requests that instead of flowers , donations to be made in her name to Operation Freedom Paws, an organization that pairs wounded veterans with service dogs.
