Jane Ellen Gustafson

Jane Ellen Gustafson, aged 68 of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on March 8th, 2023.

Jane was born on January 16th, 1955 to loving parents C.R. (Rudy) and Muriel Gustafson in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. Growing up in Minnesota, Jane attended Concordia College in Moorhead, MN and earned her Bachelor’s Degree at St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, MN.

Jane was an avid player of golf and member of the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) from 1981 to 2023.

Jane’s hobbies kept her in a very active life; from crafts, cooking, and baking, to playing her saxophone and other music and skiing. Jane loved her loyal dogs, and the special times she spent with her nieces and nephew. She was very fond of all things Christmas.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Rudy and Muriel Gusafson; her mother-in-law, Bonnie E. Brislane; her grandparents, Wm and Ida Gustafson; Wm and Alvina Kreinbring; her aunts and uncles, Ruby (Carl) Hultstrom, Mel (Ruth) Gustafson, Edna (John) Schetzle, and Eleanor (Milton) Hamblen.

Jane is survived by her adoring wife Madonna Brislane-Gustafson; her father-in-law Patrick Brislane; her beloved cocker spaniels, Barkley and Spencer; her sister, Mary Engan; her brother, David (Carol) Gustafson; her nephews, Bruce Gustafson and Chad Engan; her niece, Arin (Jayson) Knutson; her great nieces, Emily, Lauren, and Olivia Knutson; loving cousins, and treasured friends from throughout the years.

A graveside service will be held at Howard Lake Cemetery at 1400 7th Ave, Howard Lake, MN on Saturday, July 8th, 2023 at 11 o'clock am.
