Jane O'Kelly Hancock, 60, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 3, 2016.
Memorial Service: 1 p.m. Wednesday at Lucas Funeral Home Chapel in Hurst.
Jane was born October 7, 1955, in Fort Worth, to Lewis Jackson "Jack" and Wanda Claire Ramsey O'Kelly. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She was very passionate about helping animals, having rescued most of their pets. She loved dogs, cats, horses, dragonflies, varmits, kids, and even John. She was in the Oil and Gas industry working for Union Pacific Resources and then XTO Energy, Inc. an Exxon/Mobil Subsidiary. She enjoyed belly dancing, riding four-wheelers, and driving in the country.
Survivors: Loving husband of 28 years, John Hancock; daughter, Laura White (Jeremy); stepson, Travis Hancock (Michelle); grandchildren, Lacey, Levi and Madilyn; mother, Wanda O'Kelly; brother, Jim O'Kelly; and many other loving family members and friends.
