Janet was born on May 18, 1938 in Jackson, Michigan to Lewis and Thelma Johnston Whitcher. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
Survivors: Husband, Edward Day; son, Geoffrey Lewis Day; daughter, Kathleen Louise Day Guidry; granddaughter, Sarah Guidry; brothers, David and William Whitcher; sister, Lu Anne Knowles and a host of other friends.
