Janice Marie Perkins

August 17, 1940 — August 4, 2022

Janice Marie Perkins, 81 of Santa Clara California, went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on August 4, 2022 with her family by her side. Janice was born August 17, 1940 to Sophie (Cisowski) and Fred House in East Hazel Crest Illinois. She recently relocated to Burleson, Texas to be with her family.

Janice worked in personnel acquisition, training, and management with AT&T for over 40 years before retiring. She met and later married Stanley Perkins in 1973 and together they raised their two children and enjoyed life before his passing. She was a wonderful mother and later doting Granny to her six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Her family was her greatest joy.

Janice was a strong Godly woman who loved her Church, Grace Church, formerly Mission Springs. She was a mentor to many, an ear to listen, a beloved friend, sister, mom and grandmother. She was intelligent, honest, hardworking, spiritual, humorous, caring, and loyal. Her presence was filled with love, laughter, and joy.
Janice is preceded in death by her loving husband, Stanley "Jim" Perkins; her beloved dog, Holly; parents, Sophie and Fred House; and brothers, Fred House, and Hank House.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory daughter, Cynthia Lester and spouse Thomas Frizzie; Step-son, Jim Perkins and wife, Traci; grandchildren, Amanda Weir and husband, Howie, Jamie Canova and husband, Chris, Jordan Aloe, and Christopher Brenton; great-grandchildren, Josh Weir, Oliver Weir, Owen Kelley, Brooklyn Kelley, and Lorelai Canova; sister, Anne Pharris; step-grandchildren, Amanda Taylor and Ashley Taylor; multiple nieces and nephews and numerous extended church family and dear friends.

She was very loved and will be dearly missed here on earth; resting now in peace with the Lord until that glorious day when we are all called home.
