Janie Weber Buhrkuhl, 68, died Friday, July 3, 2015, in Kansas City, Kan.
Service: 10 a.m. Friday at Lucas Funeral Home in Grapevine. Interment: Historic Grapevine Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers: Billy Buhrkuhl, Joey Buhrkuhl, Bryce Buhrkuhl, Connor Buhrkuhl, Michael Guthrie and Stephen Guthrie. Honorary pallbearers: Richard Weber, Robbie Weber and Jim Baker.
She was born Dec. 6, 1946, and raised in Kansas. She lived in Kansas City, Amarillo, Arlington and Grapevine. She retired from Intertech Fluid Power. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, spending time with her family and her pets, Mitzi and Maggie.
She was preceded in death by her stepmother, Leola Weber Edens; and father, William V Weber.
Survivors: Sons, Billy (Renee) of Grapevine and Joey (Dawn) of Arlington; brothers, Richard Weber of Amarillo, Robbie Weber (JoAnn) of Shawnee, Kan., Bruce Wallace (Mary) of Vancouver, Wash.; sisters, Vicki Baker (Jim) of Bonner Springs, Kan., and Barbara Guthrie of Frisco; and grandchildren, Bryce, Connor, Brooke and Brielle.
