Jannie Lazell Lambert-Banowsky

Jannie Lazell Lambert-Banowsky, 89, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, April 5, 2015.
Service: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Williams & Lucas Funeral Home in Fort Worth. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: The family will greet friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Lazell was born April 28, 1925, to Walter C. and Molly Tubbs in Stamford. She grew up in Abilene and moved to the Oakhurst area of Fort Worth after marrying Thomas O. Lambert. Lazell retired as an administrator with the Forth Worth ISD after 24 years of dedicated service. She was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ.
Lazell was preceded in passing by her husband, Thomas O. Lambert; second husband, Wade L. Banowsky; children, Jannie Lavon Lambert and Thomas Lamarque Lambert; and siblings, Robert Tubbs and Genetta Poer.
Survivors: Lazell is survived by her sister, Jimmie Nell Richards; stepchildren, Richard Banowsky, William Banowsky, Nancy Myers and Martha Sherman; and many loving nieces, nephews and family members.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Christ's Haven for Children or the Community Enrichment Center in North Richland Hills.
