Jeanne Annette Scherer

Jeanne A. Scherer, 80, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 21, 2015.

Service: 9:30a Monday, August 3, 2015 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas.

Jeanne was born September 10, 1934 in Van Wert, OH to Charles "Doc" and Doris Keyser. She then moved to Marion, IN where she had 3 sons and a daughter. They were her pride and joy. She was married to the love of her life Jerry and together they dedicated their lives to raising a wonderful family. Jeanne's passion was caring for others. She spent 39 years in nursing doing just that. She was full of love and laughter. Her smile lit up a room. She was loved by all that met her. Jeanne, also called "Jeannie Bell", had 2 sisters. Her twin Joanne and younger sister Karen. They were her best friends and greatest support. She loved to dance and was often found to be dancing alone even without music. Now she is dancing in Heaven with her husband, her soulmate.

She is survived by her 3 sons, Richard Barton, Kenneth Barton and Mark Barton; daughter, Anjanette Shelby; sisters, Joanne Hennessy and Karen Kincaid; grandchildren, Jocelyn Larner, Ashley Chambers, Taylor Chambers, K.G. Barton, Evan and Jacob Shelby.
