Jeannette L. Sweney, 94, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2016.
Service: 11 a.m. Thursday at Lucas Funeral Home Chapel, Hurst.
Visitation: 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Lucas Funeral Home Chapel, Hurst. A graveside service follows the service at 1:15 p.m. in DFW National Cemetery, Dallas.

Jeannette was preceded in death by her husband, Walter V. Sweney; parents, Floyd and Millicent Horth; and sister, Phyllis Nicely.
Survivors: She is survived by her sons, Gary Sweny and wife, Melinda and Michael Sweny; daughters, Susanne Gibson and husband, Doug, and Carole Darnell; nine grandchildren; eight great- grandchildren; niece, Teri Nicely; and many more family and friends.
