Jeff David Sims, 40, passed away peacefully in his home on February 23, 2016.
Jeff was born on May 28, 1975 in Arlington, Texas to parents Dr. David Ford Sims and Marilyn Womack Sims. He grew up in Keller and attended Keller High School. He graduated from Independent Electrical Contractors (IEC) in 2007. There he received the Apprentice of the Year award four years in a row. He worked at Hurst Electric and The Print Place as a master electrician.
Survivors: He was preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn Womack Sims in 2013. Jeff is survived by his father, Dr. David Ford Sims of Keller, TX and sister, Dr. Deanna Sims Whinery and her husband Shelby Whinery of Plano, TX. He is survived by his aunt Mary Beth Womack of Lewisville, TX; cousin Bobby Womack and his wife Tammy Womack of Carrollton, TX; cousin Gina Hawkins and her husband Gary Hawkins of Johnson City, TN; uncle Wes Coleman and aunt Sara Coleman of Dallas, TX; cousin Carol Perry and her husband John Perry of Dallas, TX; and a great many friends.

Memorial Service: A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Keller United Methodist Church 1025 Johnson Road Keller, TX 76248. A burial service will be held at Cornett Cemetery in Cass County, TX at a time and date to be announced.
