Jeffrey Paul Johnson

Jeffrey "Jeff" Paul Johnson went to be with his Heavenly Father on January 24, 2025 at the age of 62.  

Jeff was born to Vernon T and Lorene E Johnson on December 11, 1962, in Fort Worth, TX. He graduated in 1981 from Richland High School. He married his high school sweetheart Michaela in July of 1981. He then went to trade school to learn A/C and Heating. Jeff went to work for Venture Mechanical in 1985. He also became a dad to his first son Matt in 1985 and a year later he became a dad for a second time to his son Josh. Jeff loved watching them play hockey, baseball, and football, attending many of their activities. His boys were his greatest accomplishment in life and he loved them wholeheartedly. He then became a partner with DFW Mechanical in 1999 until the company was sold. Jeff then returned to Venture to finish out his career for the last 22 years. During those years Jeff became a “Papa” to seven granddaughters. They brought him so much joy and he soaked up every moment with them. Jeff enjoyed golf, hunting, fishing, reading his Bible and camping trips with his family. Jeff was a loving husband, father, and Papa. He was a hard worker and had a servant's heart, always there to help a relative, friend, or neighbor.

Jeff is preceded in death by his parents Vernon and Lorene Johnson, brother Gary Johnson, Sisters Karen Larson and Melissa Taylor, and brother-in-law Wayne Perritt.

Jeff is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Michaela Johnson, and two sons Matthew Johnson (Megan) of Hurst, Texas, and Josh Johnson (Colleen) of Roanoke, Texas. Sister Ann Perritt of NRH, Texas, granddaughters Presley, Aubrey, Allyson, Emma, Everleigh, Ca’Mora and Viviana.
