Jennie L. Fitch

Jennie Baley Fitch, 84 of Bedford passed away June 4th in Bedford.
Visitation: Wednesday, 6-8 p.m., Lucas Funeral Home, Hurst; Service: Thursday, 11:00 a.m., First Baptist Church in Euless, where Jennie was a member for over 50 years with burial to follow at Calloway Cemetery in Euless.
Heaven added another saint when Jennie went to meet her Lord and Savior. She was an old school Christian woman, living, working, laughing and loving by her husband John for more than 60 years. She had the character traits that made the Greatest Generation the greatest generation. There is no doubt that she was told “well done my good and faithful servant”.
Mrs. Fitch was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Floy Plyler Baley; sisters Jean Crawford, Anice Price, Lana Downs and brother John Baley.
Mrs. Fitch is survived by her husband; sons Jeff (Chrissy) Fitch and Jay (Marcy) Fitch; sister Rita Woodruff; brother C.P. Baley and grandchildren Sarah Elizabeth Fitch, John Michael Fitch, Matthew Isaac Fitch, Jacob Baley Fitch and Hannah Marie Fitch as well as many numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
