Jennifer E. Escalante

Jennifer E. Escalante, 58, passed away on January 16, 2015 in Fort Worth.
Visitation: 10 am to 4 pm, Tuesday at Williams and Lucas Funeral Home, 517 N. Sylvania Avenue, Fort Worth TX 76111.
Jennifer was born on May 8, 1956 in San Antonio to Charles and Marion Hawkins. She was a loving and caring person who'd never met a stranger. Jennifer married Jesse Escalante on October 3, 1998 and instantly made his life better. She was a dedicated representative of F.E.M.A. since 2005. A high spirited woman, Jennifer wouldn't let cancer keep her from showing her compassion for others.
She was preceded in passing by her parents; her father and mother-in-law, Jesse and Jennie Vasquez; her sister-in-law, Josie Navarrette of Colorado; her brothers-in-law, Fred Alvarado of Fort Worth, Richard Duran of New Mexico, and Tony Escalante of Colorado; and her niece, Cindy Alvarado.
Survivors: Husband, Jesse Escalante; brother, Charles William Hawkins; sister, Katy L. Koch; and many loving family members and friends.
