Jensen Clark Read

November 2, 2012 — December 7, 2024

Fort Worth

It is with deep sorrow and profound love that we announce the passing of our beloved Jensen Clark Read who was called home to be with the Lord on December 7, 2024, at the age of 12. Born on November 2, 2012, Jensen was a shining light in this world, a bright soul who touched the hearts of all who knew him.

A proud student of Freedom Elementary and Parkwood Hill Intermediate School, Jensen was known for his infectious laugh and the immense love he showed to everyone. His love for life was unmatched—he loved his family, his friends, and everyone he met along the way.

Jensen was a lover of simple joys. His heart was full of devotion to his favorite things—Mickey Mouse and Finding Nemo. He could often be found listening to his favorite songs from his most-loved shows and from his beloved Scout. He loved to read his treasured books over and over again: Red Truck, I Love You, Stinkyface, Down by the Bay, and The Pout Pout Fish. He adored his special songs, especially “5 Little Monkeys Swinging in the Tree,” “5 Little Ducks,” “Wheels on the Bus,” and “If You’re Happy and You Know It.” His pure joy for life resonated through the melodies he loved, his infamous dance moves, his Boo game, Blast Off, and Grandpa kissies.

A warrior in every sense of the word, Jensen was strong and brave. He faced every challenge with a fighting spirit. His resilience was a testament to the depth of his inner strength.

Those who were fortunate enough to know Jensen will remember him for his unrelenting joy, his caring heart, and his ability to love with all that he was. He gave the best hugs and kisses, never missing an opportunity to share affection and warmth. He was pure, holy, and perfect in every way—a true miracle sent to teach the world how to love selflessly and with grace.

Though his time with us was short, Jensen made a lasting impact on all of us. His life was a testament to what it means to live with purpose, to love deeply, and to shine brightly in the face of adversity. While we mourn his passing, we take comfort in knowing that his spirit lives on in the love he gave and the lessons he imparted.

Jensen leaves behind a family who adored him and friends who will never forget the joy he brought into their lives. He will always be remembered as the light he was—a beacon of love, faith, and joy.

Rest in peace, sweet Jensen. You were a miracle, and you will forever remain in our hearts.
