Jerry Don Bosher was born July 21, 1948, in Cleburne Texas to the parentage of Elvis Bosher and Dona Hardin.
Jerry graduated from Rio Vista High School in 1966. He later worked at Walls Industry until 1967, and later Wichita Industrial, then Texas Steel until he was drafted for Vietnam in 1969. Upon his return, he continued at Texas Steel for another 15 years. He worked at Johns Manville from 1986 until his retirement in 2011.
He married the love of his life Sandra Bosher (Johnson) in 1971 and to this union two children were born; Jason and Jeremy.
A hard working, honorable man, Jerry never met a stranger in the course of his journey. He loved all music and loved to dance. He loved all sports. He coached baseball and both indoor and outdoor soccer for 27 years. Above all else, he loved his family.
He was proceeded in death by his parents Elvis Bosher and Dona and Percy Glowski, and his brother, Tommy Lynn Bosher.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife of 52 years, Sandra Bosher of Burleson Texas; son Jason Bosher (Dejorel Jackson) of Arlington, Texas; Son Jeremy Bosher (Gail Guth) of Cleburne, Texas; 7 grandchildren: Megan Hatchet (Matthew Hawley) , Morgan Bosher (Kellie Godinez), Preston Bosher (Cheyenne Behan), Mallorie Bosher (Alex Torres), Marissa Bosher, Lynetta House, and Ethan House; 5 Great Grandchildren: Bostyn Hatchett, Ky Hatchett, Abbott Hatchett, Elliot Torres, and Rylinn Bosher on the way; 2 siblings: Glenn Bosher of Joshua, Texas, and Tammy Sims (Phillip Sims) of Cleburne, Texas, and a host of Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, and Friends who loved him.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking people to consider donating to the Wounded Warrior Project.
