Jerry Boe Davis

Jerry Boe Davis, 87, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2016, at his home in Fort Worth.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday at Colleyville Presbyterian, 715 Cheek Sparger Road, Colleyville. Pastor Josh Anderson will officiate. Interment: Smithfield Cemetery. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst.
Jerry was born Nov. 6, 1928, in Fort Pierre, S.D., and grew up in the lower Rio Grande Valley. On Nov. 18, 1951, he married Norma Jean Essary and they moved to Fort Worth in 1958. He later retired from Allstate Insurance after 30 years as an agent. He loved family vacations in the Texas Hill Country and swimming in the Guadalupe River; above all he loved his family who will miss him dearly.
Jerry was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Shauna Duff.
Survivors: His loving wife of 64 years, Norma Jean "Jeanie" Davis; sons, Gary Davis and wife, Jo, and Jeff Davis and wife, Cindy; daughter, Jena Snodgrass and husband, Michael; grandchildren, Greg Harvey and wife, Lindy, Russ Davis and wife, Kelly, Drew Davis, Dustin Michalak and wife, Brenda, and Bryan Michalak; and five great-grandchildren and one on the way.
