Jerry Wayne Hodges

July 2, 1957 — October 13, 2019

Jerry Wayne Hodges, Sr stepped into Heaven on Sunday morning, October 13th, after a brief illness.

Jerry was born in Grapevine Texas and grew up and spent most of his adult life in Johnson County.

Jerry is survived by his partner, Aaron Arredondo of Dallas. Children, Jerry Hodges, Jr. of Ennis, Katherine Morgan of Ennis, Mandy Hodges of Hamilton, and Justin Hodges of Austin.
Grandchildren, Dillion, Madison, Ambrie. Ella, Jaggar and Liam. Sisters, Peggy Cook and husband Jim of Joshua and Betty Eaves of Vienna, Il, as well as many nieces, nephews and close friends.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Hodges and Goldie Seay Hodges, brothers James Hodges and Donald Hodges, brother in law Chuck Eaves, sister in law Janice Hodges and niece Janie Cook Farthing.

Jerry worked at Wells Fargo at the time of his death. He owned and operated the Dairy Queen in Burleson for several years.

Jerry had a smile that would brighten any room and was always a joy to be around. He was always laughing and always fun.He was loved by all of us who knew him and will be greatly missed.

Visitation Thursday, October 17th 10:a.m. Service 11:00 a.m. Lucas Funeral Home, 700 Wall Street, Grapevine Texas. Burial - Lonesome Dove Cemetery- 2380 Lonesome Dove Road, Southlake TX.
