Jerry Lee Shockey, 75, passed away on April 3, 2017 in Arlington.

Service: A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Friday at Lucas Funeral Home in Grapevine. Interment will follow at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. A visitation is scheduled from 6 to 8 pm Thursday at the funeral home.

Jerry was born in Grapevine on July 8, 1941.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Earl & Ruth Shockey; brother, Donald Shockey; sister, Kathryn Shockey; nephew, Dewayne Shockey; and former wife, Gwen Shockey.

Survivors: Sister-in-law, Rita Shockey; son and wife, Casey and Cathy Shockey of Austin; step-daughter, Teri Massey; nephew and wife, Donny and DeAnne Shockey; niece, Karen Shockey; great-niece and husband, Andrea and Todd Bracken; great-niece, Amanda Shockey; great-nephew, Chris & Elizabeth Shockey; great-niece, Jennifer Shockey; great-nephew and wife, Andrew & Ciara Underwood; as well as, thirteen great-great-nieces and nephews.
