Jessica Sandoval

September 21, 1977 — November 5, 2016

Jessica Gardner Sandoval, 39, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2016. Her celebration of life and faith will be held on Thursday, November 10, at 2:00 p.m. at Gateway Church, NRH Campus at 7501 Davis Boulevard NRH, TX 76182.
Jessica was born in Bryan, TX, to Lee and Elizabeth “Libby” Gardner. Her early years were spent in Bryan/College Station where she began her love for the Aggies of Texas A&M. She moved to Conroe, TX where she graduated high school in 1996. She returned “home” to Texas A&M University where she graduated with a degree in Elementary Education. She moved to the Fort Worth area where she worked in Birdville ISD for 17 years as an elementary school teacher, assistant principal, and principal. She touched countless lives during her service to children and made every decision based on “what is best for kids.” Her legacy will be felt for years.

Jessica remarked many times how much she loved her life. She loved spending time with her family and her animals. She loved to travel and amazed others with her eye for decoration and creativity baking cupcakes. She loved God and was amazed at His signs she saw each day. She dedicated her life to building His kingdom through her marriage, her family, and through each of the children she interacted with each day. She made each person feel special with her compassion, personality, and vibrant smile.

Jessica is survived by her best friend and husband, Mick Sandoval and children, Riley, Reece, and Zoe of North Richland Hills, and Ariel Sandoval of San Antonio, father Lee Gardner and Step-Mother Karen of Somerville, sister Katy Maurer and her husband Tony Maurer, niece Natalie and nephew Tyler of Keller, Clayton Gardner and fiancé Kaitlyn Miller of College Station, Aunt and Uncle Jane and Mike Dukes of North Richland Hills, brother-in-law Dr. Stephen Sandoval and wife Melissa, nephew and niece Andrew and Megan of Sherman, and sister-in-law Davern Brown and husband Jeremy of Little Elem. She is preceded in death by her mother Elizabeth Gardner. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Jessica Sandoval memorial fund at Chase Bank or at www.YouCaring.com for her children’s needs.
