Jill T. Hafner, 62 years old battled Multiple Sclerosis for 30 years. She was born July 21, 1960 in Hartford Connecticut to Marie Francis and John Krasko. She passed away peacefully on July 26, 2022.
She graduated from Wethersfield Connecticut High School and Anna Maria College, in MA with a bachelor's degree in Art.
Jill served on the Keller Library Board for many years and was an Art Teacher for a decade at South Keller Intermediate School. She was named Texas Teacher of the Year for 2009 -2010 instructional year. Teaching from a wheelchair did not dim her enthusiasm for helping students learn the joys of creativity.
She was a devoted wife who supported her husband's, Mark Hafner, professional career as the Police Chief and current City Manager in Keller, Texas.
Survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Mark Hafner; sons, Justin Hafner and his wife Cathryn of Katy, TX and Ryan Hafner of Dallas, TX; her 2 year old Granddaughter, Madison Hafner; mother, Marie Francis of Wethersfield, CT; sisters, Sharlene Radican of Marlborough, CT and Leslie Krasko of Burlington, CT and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by sister, Christine Krasko and father, John Krasko.
Jill’s wishes were to have no formal service, but feel free to celebrate her life in your own way.
