Jim Thrower, of Keller, Texas, passed away on July 25th 2020 in Fort Worth, Texas. He will always be remembered as an amazing man, father, husband, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He was born on December 29th, 1940 in Hobbs, New Mexico to A.P. Thrower and Lucy Thompson. Jim graduated from North Texas State University, which is also where he met the love of his life Evelyn Ramon (who would soon become Evelyn Thrower) He was a funny, caring, giving, strong, smart man and the best father and husband you could imagine. He enjoyed so many things in life, such as flying, golfing, attending all of his families sporting events, traveling, skiing, and old classic movies. He ran a successful business for over 25 years and had an amazing marriage to Evelyn for 55 years. Jim Thrower is survived by his wife Evelyn Thrower of Keller, Texas, brother Larry Thrower of Farmington, New Mexico, children Julie Higgins, Rusty Thrower and Greg Thrower, grandchildren Lindsay, Payton, Mackenzie, Kenny, and Evan, great-grandchild Melody.
The visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Monday, August 3rd at Lucas Funeral home in Keller, Texas. The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, August 4th at Bluebonnet Hills in Colleyville, Texas.
