Jimmy Don Freeman, 75, of Burleson, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2019 surrounded by his loving family.
Funeral Service: 10 a.m. Thursday at Pathway Church in Burleson. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park of Fort Worth. Visitation: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel at Lucas and Blessing Funeral Home.
Jimmy was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend. Jimmy Don's smile and laughter would fill the room. He had an opinion on everything!! He was a man on the go and had a passion for watching sports and that passion grew deeper as he chased his grandkids and family around the country watching a ball game. He always enjoyed a great meal after the games, it was then that he could give you play by play of the game. He lived for the next game and dinner with his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Linda and siblings, Carolyn Smith and Jane Pruitt.
Survivors: children, Kristie Menchaca and husband, Gary, Robby Freeman and wife, Beverly, Gina Harris; grandchildren, Gary Wayne Menchaca, Erika Ford and husband, Jacob, Tristan Menchaca, Brooklyn Freeman, Brayden Freeman, Baylor Freeman, Christina Sterner, Samantha Freeman, Robert Sterner III, Michael Sterner; great-grandchildren, Blakely and Brynlee Ford; niece and side-kick, Lisa Prescher; brother-in-law, William Paul Mann, Jr., sister-in-law, Kay Easter and husband, LaRoy and numerous other loving family members and friends.
